What’s Up Canada?
Please don’t ever deprive me of a good Canadian Tux. But also, why is it called a Canadian Tux? I looked it up for us, don’t worry.
The ‘Canadian Tuxedo‘ Can Apparently Be Traced Back to Bing Crosby. … According to Levi’s Vintage Clothing, legendary singer Bing Crosby was denied entrance into a Canadian hotel in 1951 because he and his companion were clad in head-to-toe denim.
Work Bing! Anyways, moving on. How did everyone’s first Monday back from the Holiday Break go? Mine was just alright. I felt foggy all day, like I was just going through my routine on auto-pilot. Boring huh? I am trying to implement some new Micro-resolutions into my daily routine and so far, they are going well. And when I say, Micro.. I mean small little shifts in my day to day that will create a slightly different, NEW day to day. I wrote a post all about my Resolutions or lack of. If you haven’t read it yet, you can find it HERE
One thing I want to touch on with this look. “Winter Sneakers.” It’s a thing right? Here in Chicago, we have the most weird Winters. One day you’re frolicking in the grass with your dog in a simple jacket and jean. The next, you are triple layering and attempting not to slip on a completely iced driveway in your thickest coat and boot. So, I have coined the term “Winter Sneakers” after coming into these Sherpa lined shoes.
They keep your feet so nice and warm, but they are a lot more convenient than a lace-up Winter boot. You’re Welcome!!
