Hey, What’s Up, Hello.
Well well well, you came back for more! Hittin’ you with a hardcore Fashion post, so look out. I have been in a headspin lately with Fashion. I am currently shopping for my trip to Mexico, (Blog Post on what I found online coming soon) and I have been also shopping for the upcoming Holiday season.
It seems like every year, around this time… the Starbucks Christmas cups come out, the temperatures drop, and my wardrobe has a panic attack! Fall is so hard to shop for in my opinion. It seems like such a lovely season, but it is so short lived in reality. So this year, I am skipping right to the Holiday posts. If Starbucks is bringing Christmas, then so is this girl!
I must admit, I am here for a good Holiday feast. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite Holidays. The food is good, the family is fun, and there is just something about the warmth of it all. I know every year, there is an added stress when it comes to what I will wear for the Holidays. Or maybe this is just my sister and I who stress about it. I come from a family who could give a shit less about what I wear to eat Turkey or open Christmas presents, but I like the idea of a good outfit. Plus, some of the family we see, we do not see often.
(Don’t we all want to look like we have our shit together?)
I also realize that skirts are having a moment right now, and I want to acknowledge it. For those of you who love to dress up for the Holidays, or for those of you who go to BIG Holiday parties where fancier outfits are expected, then let me live vicariously through you and help you find some cute looks. I have done the hard part for you!
Let’s take those summer skirts that you wore once or twice, and use them again with more winterized accessories. As seen above. I stalked this Free People denim skirt for months and months. Too much work to only wear it for one season. I love this idea of a scarf as a dramatic accessory. Especially in such a fall like color.
Below I have attached some skirts that I am currently loving. Take a peek!
Style Tip:
Create your look around your accessory. Start with a fun tight, and keep it simple everywhere else. What do you want people to see, when they first see your ensemble? Keep your tights the focal point, and let everything else compliment them subtly.
Probably wearing this outfit to Thanksgiving dinner, so don’t judge me for the repeat guys! However, feel free to CopyCat my look if you’re loving it. See what I did there? 😉
