Hey everyone. Happy Sunday..
Today I bring to you, the most necessary sweaters you will need this Winter season. Not only is the Holiday season absolutely crazy with Holiday parties and events, but then you have the following 3 months that you are required to bundle up! Or for us over here in Illinois, the next 5 months!!
I love a strong sweater moment. My sweater hoarding skills are next level.I may or may not have an entire closet dedicated to just sweaters. It is something I am proud of…
So today, I felt it was necessary to point out some more exciting sweaters. Not your basic, one color, staple sweater.. YOU KNOW where to find those. Today, I wanted to take you through three different kinds of sweaters and why I think they are essential to have.
This is the sweater that makes the outfit. It has a lot going on, and doesn’t require much more help than pairing it with a simple bottom and shoe. Statement sweaters are MADE for Holiday parties. You can genuinely show up to a Holiday party in a fully tinsle’d sweater and someone would think it was amazing.

Subtle details can really take a sweater from boring to fun. These are the sweaters that you can still make the center of your outfit, but play with fun pops of color with accessories and it won’t be too much! I call these the perfect in between sweater.. This sweater says;
“I’m keeping it chill, but letting you know I care about a fashion detail.”

These are really in this year. Cheetah, snake skin, all of the animal prints are making a splash in the sweater market. Playing with prints and patterns is daring, but sooo soo good when it’s right. My opinion (take it or leave it) is to use these sweaters as accent pieces. If you have a certain pair of pants that are not an everyday color or fabric, then these sweaters make great accents for those moments.

And there you have it! Sweaters for fun occasions. Sweaters to challenge your inner fashionista. Trust me, I am all for a plain color, simple sweater to have for years and years, but sometimes you have to go for the fun stuff! Then laugh about it years down the road when they are no longer on trend.
