Well, Hello there! Lovely to have you. Welcome to my new favorite spot, BurbNChic. Here, is where no topic is safe when it comes to Fashion and Lifestyle. We’re discussing it all! Naturally there will be some unsolicited opinion, sometimes a rant, a whole slew of gushing, and maybe a little bit of bitching! But, all in good fun.
Recently, I was getting super wrapped up in creating this blog and brand, and I came across an interesting article by the one and only, Tony Robbins. It was one of those articles, that stops you in your tracks, just based off of the title. The article, which you can read Here, is titled, “What’s your X Factor?”
My natural reaction, was..“Shit, shut this all down.” I couldn’t even answer the question. But then, after some thought, I brought myself back to the name of my blog. BurbNChic. “Suburban Chic”(For those of you who haven’t caught the drift, wink wink) This was my X Factor.
Have you ever thought about it? I mean, this question can be for anyone, pursuing any kind of career. What is YOUR X Factor? What makes people want to hire you, read your blog, buy what your sellin’, or wear what you’re wearing? Catching on?
My X Factor:
Well, its simple.
My X Factor is bringing fashion and lifestyle trends to women who want to live a fabulous life, in any city, with all ranges of lifestyle.
I started to become really interested in bloggers and influencers a couple years back. I can remember getting SO FRUSTRATED when I would “like” their pictures, and soon realize their entire outfit was something not realistic for me and my lifestyle or income at the time. I cannot buy a t-shirt for $120, and honestly, WHO DOES THAT?
I like to find new trends, and search for similar outfits, or lifestyle hacks that are tangible. Bottom Line. Boom!
I want to find the affordable, cute websites and stores and share them with you guys! Girls who are just trying to go to their local Steak House that may not be “insta-famous” and STILL look Chic AF. As far as I’m concerned, there are far more girls who can relate to each other on that level than all of the lavish, over-saturated Social Media World lifestyle. There I said it.
So, that being said, I cannot wait to share with you all. But more importantly, I cannot wait for all of us Suburban Chicks to come together and share the hustle. The hustle to look and feel good on that local Target run. Ha!! Take a look around, and Enjoy!
